- I have two scopes, an ST80 and a 6" newtonian reflector which I can't reach prime focus with, unless I use a Barlow, which I prefer not to. I have run the ST80 through the popular gamut of upgrades (loosening the lens retaining ring, flocking the tube, blackening the edges of the lens) to increase its performance.
