- The camera is not going to be your issue. I am using a canon M3 with the Canon EF-M 28mm f/3.5 Macro Lens. You can probably find a similar setup for about $1000. This works great for small products. A different lens will help you with larger products. However, LIGHTING and BACKGROUND are going to be the big deals for this type of photography.
