    I use 3 Canon lenses for macro photography of butterflies. The Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L IS is a great lens, but I found that the reach was often not sufficient. The Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L IS produces extremely sharp photographs, and the bokeh is substantially better than the 100mm. I have used this lens with the Canon EF25 II Extension Tube.
