- The FR on the ED80 only brings it to the same speed as the Equinox is natively. The Equinox has a dedicated field flattener, which is a very reasonable £79, which works extremley well. Certainly good enough to give a flat field on a DSLR sensor. If you wanted to reduce the Equinox further, then the TV TRF-2008 works very well.
