- Nikon did a horrible job explaining how it works and naming the menu. Now that I understand it, The D7000 internal works great. Your "Interval" ..... the time from start of exposure to start of the next exposure. So a 15sec exposure + plus time it takes to process the 15 sec exposure (green write light goes out) + 6 sec delay (in this case as example) for next shot.
