- This image is one of a collection of negatives associated with the Perth photographer, Magnus Jackson, between about 1850 and 1895. Magnus was born in Perth in 1831 and died there in 1891. He was the son of Thomas Jackson, a carver and gilder. In the 1850's he travelled to London and trained in the new art of photography.
