- The EQ6 Pro mount is a proven unit for Astrophotography. Many classy images on this forum were obtained from scopes and cameras driven, and guided by it. I would look into that, and a good Apochromatic refractor in the 80 to 110 mm range, and another Apo, 66mm, as a guide scope plus second imaging unit.

- If I remember correctly, the formula is. field size = 2*atan (film size / (2* flocal length)) * 60. Where film size and focal length are in mm and field size is in arcminutes. In the 8" LX200 case at 2000 mm with 35mm film, the field size we get 60.2 arcminutes, or about 1 degree.

I used alkaid like in manual but didnt align base to north first. The one obvious thing was I tried to go to moon and it went up and moon still below horizon so it was way off.
