- I set camera to remote - that I do by touch with the dedicated button - one push = timer two = timer + remote three = remote only. After that, I change S / F and focus and all these are in the viewfinder. So, in effect, the lack of the backlight on top LCD is virtually a non issue to me. For timning longer than 30S exposures, I use a stopwatch.
