- I often use Photoshop CC for my astrophotography including stacking. I always use Photoshop CC for post-stacking editing even if I stack using one of the astro-dedicated stacking programs. I haven't used Elements in about a dozen years but I would think that its layering and stacking capabilities would be the same as Photoshop CC.
