- They work best when you have 3 subjects– and you space them evenly around the frame. Note it doesn’t necessarily have to be 3 “people” per-se. It can include body limbs, objects, animals, etc. The greatest part of triangles in composition is the balance it gives to the viewer- and fills the frame quite nicely.
