- We need a camera that does not compromise. The D4 delivers. The new Nikon flagship, the D4, is aimed at working professionals who are out in the wild using their gear on at least a weekly basis. Although the camera is aimed at action and sports shooters, many wedding photographers will be choosing between the D4, the D800, and maybe even the D600 for their DSLR upgrade.

- I currently shoot weddings with a D3s and a D700 as a backup or 2nd camera. Looking at Nikon's new lineup, I am curious what wedding photographers plan to do in the near future. Lots to consider. What would be your ideal one camera setup? What would be your ideal two camera setup? Thanks.

With a whopping 36.3 MP sensor this will be a great camera. So having just sold one of my D700’s and ordered a D4, the question is do I sell my other D700 and buy a D800 too?

- Here are a couple of portraits of my son. Same lens, the Nikkor 85mm f1.4 AFS, so a bit more magnification for the D1X portrait first up. The D1x was shot at 800ISO, the D750 portrait below, at 12,800ISO! Not a scientific test by any means, no need to shoot at 12,800 in this subdued light.
Nikon D5 Review | Destination Wedding Photographer

- The D5 grip is deep, offering a stable hold. Some of the (manic) dance floor shots were taken with the D5 being held high up in one hand, with the Nikon 24-70 ƒ2.8G zoom lens and Nikon SB-910 flash attached. Not light by any means, but the grip and balance of the camera was spot on.
