- Walgreens: Prints are 29 cents a print for 4x6 and $3.99 a print for 8x10. This location uses a Fuji Frontier 340 and Fuji Crystal Archive paper, which I prefer over Kodak Edge paper. Input is via the Fuji Aladdin ADPCIV kiosk. CVS: Same cost per print as Walgreens, though this CVS uses a Noritsu QSS-3011 Digital minilab and Kodak Edge paper.

- CVS is glossy, but they are 29 cents a print (without coupons). I get pictures there sometimes. Also, Sams is glossy if you don't use the 1 hour photo. I ordered some online for 2/3 day pick up and they came out glossy -- not sure how they do those. The 2/3 day service is only 13 cents each. I don't like Winkflash too much.

- I too use CVS in a pinch from time to time, but have ALWAYS had noticablly inferior results when compared to using my photo printers. I have also encountered several situations where I could see warnings about certin colors being low or in need of replacement but the reps would "assure" me that the photos would print no differently (they were terrible).

- Walmart in Town A may give you great processing with clean negs and nice prints, while Walmart in Town B gives you mediocre processing with scratched/dirty negs and flat uncorrected prints. There is only one way to find out. Shoot some test rolls of similar subject matter and give one roll to each lab.
