- For several years my bird photography was done with a Nikon 4500 Coolpix and a Pentax spotting scope, a method of photography known as digiscoping. I have since moved on to Canon SLR digital cameras and lenses. Photos taken with this equipment are far superior to those taken by digiscoping. I hope you enjoy my photos and stories. Doug

I planned to stay here awhile and do some astro and that has been working out OK. Otherwise, I think it is drier here than the Ajo area. There is not much vegetation that is green.
