The family resemblance to the Electro 35 GT, GTN, GS, GSN is striking. Unlike the the full size Electro 35 rangefinder line, the MC is a compact zone focus camera. The lens is a nice 40mm f2.7.

- The Yashica Electro 35 MC is a small viewfinder camera for 35mm film, introduced in 1972. Contrary to it's larger Electro 35 brothers these do not have a range finder but use zone focus. It's an electronically controlled aperture priority camera so it needs a PX28 battery to work. The lens is a 40mm f/2.8 Yashinon-DX, which is very sharp.
